Footage

An undisclosed location. Dean Ambrose was set to take on undoubtedly his most daunting challenge to date in the form of former World Champion AJ Styles. Much like Seth Rollins, he had grown accustomed to dressing entirely in black. The room he sat in was dingy, grimy and squalid. He had obviously set up a camera himself for the purpose of filming. He sat slumped in a black chair with silver arm rests in the mostly white room. Not too far from him was a small, rickety stand that held a medium sized television upon it. For the moment it only showed black and white static.

Dean Ambrose: Do you want to know how AJ Styles prepares for a match? Hm?

He asked inquisitively to no one in particular while verbalizing the question with a hand gesture.

Dean Ambrose: AJ, being the big strong man that he is, brings all his buddies together and they all play dress up. They like to dress up like their opponents. I guess it's some wrestler thing where it's supposed to mess with someone's head and throw them off their game.

Ambrose slowly drug a black glove covered palm along the side of his scruffy face as he pushed himself out of his chair.

Dean Ambrose: AJ Styles and his little pal The Miz can pretend to be whoever they want. They can throw a tea party and have a sleep over and do whatever it is that gets them off as they prepare for a match. BECAUSE IT ISN'T GOING TO EFFECT ME! AND WHILE THEY'RE OFF ACTING LIKE CLOWNS AND JESTERS, I'LL BE THINKING OF WAYS TO HURT THEM!

He had screamed directly at the camera and even went so far as to grab it by it's lens with both hands.

Dean Ambrose: And I guess that's supposed to make me fit into the whole "sick" or "demented" peg or whatever buzzword this company wants to use to try to fit me into. But I am completely and one hundred percent of sound mind. Everything I do has a purpose behind it. It's merely what this machine wants you to think because it can't handle someone like me. And you know what? Maybe I do smile a little when I'm beating up someone like AJ Styles or The Miz. Because it FEELS GOOD to smash in their stupid, smug, lifeless faces. And it feels good knowing that every time I do I'm taking care of a problem that's bigger than anyone seems to fully grasp.

A self satisfied grin appeared on his face for only a brief moment.

Dean Ambrose: For the second time in my short stint in this company, I've bashed Miz's face in with his own shiny, gold trinket. A symbol of what's supposed to make him so prominent. Something that he probably sleeps with at night to inflate his own already massive and unfounded self worth. Used against him. Yeah. It feels good. It feels really damn good.

Ambrose quickly licked his lips while his brown eyes darken with malice. The television monitor behind him showed images of his time in CZW. A lot of grisly footage where he wore the proverbial crimson mask which covered his face and leaked down onto his chest. A lot of very violent material.

Dean Ambrose: I've had to wait a very long time to make my way up to these so called superstars. These sick..demented..ruthless..twisted souls..

He seemed to take great pride and twisting around the words often used to describe himself against the rest of the roster.

Dean Ambrose: And I realized that I couldn't do this alone. That I needed others who wanted to make a difference. It took some time but Seth Rollins has finally came around to my way of thinking. We're completely on the same page now. And as you can tell it's just made us all together more dangerous. We both want to stop this iniquity. And we both want to purify this wasteland. We ARE NOT members of The Coalition. It's happy coincidence that we share mutual enemies. But they are also a part of the problem. Anyone led by Paul Heyman, the creator and founder of a bloodsport like Extreme Championship Wrestling, can never coexist alongside us. They will eventually be dealt with. But for now we will continue to use them for own benefit. To EXTERMINATE people like The Miz and AJ Styles. We will use any means neccesary to reach our end goal.

The footage behind him began to play clips of violent and career ending injuries from various promotions. Some from tiny independent promotions and some from the bigger federations in the sport. Most were difficult to watch and almost all of them were cringe worthy.

Dean Ambrose: And that end goal is to PROTECT. To save lives. And I believe a man like AJ Styles is far beyond any reasonable place where he can be helped. His reckless and careless style has been copied and praised for the better part of a decade. This is a man who flaunts his many, MANY relationships and one night stands for the entire world to see and he is treated like a hero. Like someone to look up to.

He slowly shakes his head. The look of contempt on his face can not be hidden.

Dean Ambrose: AJ Styles is the absoulete worst kind of person. A complete, blithering idiot who has been given access to fame and fortune. A man who has allowed pro wrestling to put the lives of his three children in danger. He has undoubtedly left them mentally scarred and is not fit to be called a father. I know what a good care giver is supposed to look and act like! And AJ Styles doesn't measure up! He has so many vices that he might as well tattoo them on his skin! Oh, but it makes him "human", doesn't it? We're supposed to identify with him and root for him. We're all supposed to look past his ENORMOUS and DISGUSTING faults! No. No more. Punishment is going to be handed out. And it's going to swift. And painful. It's time to take this to another level. Things are going to get serious. People like Miz and AJ Styles are no longer going to be given a free pass! They WILL be held accountable!

The footage playing behind him became grainy and difficult to make out. A young man laying in his own backyard. He was laying in an uncomfortable angle. His body was limp and his neck was twisted in a unnatural position. Lights from ambulances flashed all around and he was delicately tended to.

Dean Ambrose: Someone like Chris Jericho does not have what it takes to handle this. I will NOT be dictated terms to by someone like him.

His anger noticably grew when speaking about the current GM.

Dean Ambrose: He doesn't have the balls or the mental capacity to run this promotion or do what needs to be done. But I do. Seth Rollins and I are taking matters into our own hands. We are saving souls. We are purging the EBWF of everything toxic. And that includes Miz and AJ Styles. And ultimately Jericho himself. We cannot be caged in. We will not work in the confines of the system. Our purpose is too great. You have fed on the lives of the innocent for far too long! Your end is coming.

After staring into the camera he stepped away for it. It was left upon the television and the final depressing image of youngster being cautiously loaded into a ambulance with the aid of a stretcher.

---

Footage revealed Seth Rollins sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle. His hair was pulled backwards as he stared forward. The vehicle was positioned outside of a hotel room.

Dean Ambrose: This is necessary. You can't have anyone that be used against you. You have to cut off all ties. Having someone they can use makes you weak. And they would use her against you. You can't be like AJ Styles. He has attachments and it left him powerless. It would happen to you too. Are you prepared for this?

Seth Rollins: This is what I want. I'm devoted to this cause. I'm ready. I don't need her.

Rollins stepped out of the car and it was obvious that Ambrose was filming. He approached a young woman who was waiting outside of his hotel. A girl with an alternative look, dark mascara and dyed red hair with blond streaks. Allison Wonderland. Rollins' former girlfriend and former ROH valet. A close friend who had appeared in one of his earlier promo's. She smiled lightly and gave his all black outfit a look over.

Allison Wonderland: What's up with the clothes, huh?

She asked playfully but Rollins' expression was completely serious as he leaned closer towards her.

Seth Rollins: What are you hoping for? Are you hoping I'll get you a contract? You're pathetic.

Obviously she was taken aback by this and looked a little heart broken.

Allison Wonderland: N-No. What? Seth, I've been out of the business. I'm not looking for a job. We're friends. I thought maybe we were...

Seth Rollins: Going to reconnect? We're not. Stay out of my life. I don't want anyone around me who is as weak and pathetic as you.

Her reaction was unknown as Rollins swiftly turned his back on her and returned to the car.

Dean Ambrose: How did that feel? How did it feel to get rid of all that loose baggage?

Rollins only smirked.

Seth Rollins: It felt good. I don't feel like one of them anymore.

The camera abruptly faded to black. While the pair were once at each others throats, they now seemed to have found a common ground.
